ദാരിദ്യ്രഭയത്താല് നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളയരുത്. നാമാണ് അവര്ക്കും നിങ്ങള്ക്കും ഉപജീവനം നല്കുന്നത്. അവരെ കൊല്ലുന്നത് തീര്ച്ചയായും ഭീമമായ അപരാധമാകുന്നു.(31)
(31) وَلَا تَقْتُلُوا أَوْلَادَكُمْ خَشْيَةَ إِمْلَاقٍ ۖ نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُهُمْ وَإِيَّاكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ قَتْلَهُمْ كَانَ خِطْئًا كَبِيرًا
And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin.(31)
