കാരുണ്യത്തോട് കൂടി എളിമയുടെ ചിറക് നീ അവര് ഇരുവര്ക്കും താഴ്ത്തികൊടുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, ചെറുപ്പത്തില് ഇവര് ഇരുവരും എന്നെ പോറ്റിവളര്ത്തിയത് പോലെ ഇവരോട് നീ കരുണ കാണിക്കണമേ എന്ന് നീ പറയുകയും ചെയ്യുക.(24)
(24) وَاخْفِضْ لَهُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَةِ وَقُلْ رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
And lower unto them the wing of submission and humility through mercy, and say: "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small."(24)
