വിലക്കപ്പെട്ടമാസത്തി (ലെ യുദ്ധത്തി) ന്‌ വിലക്കപ്പെട്ടമാസത്തില്‍ തന്നെ (തിരിച്ചടിക്കുക.) വിലക്കപ്പെട്ട മറ്റു കാര്യങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിക്കുമ്പോഴും (അങ്ങനെത്തന്നെ) പ്രതിക്രിയ ചെയ്യേണ്ടതാണ്‌. അപ്രകാരം നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കെതിരെ ആര്‍ അതിക്രമം കാണിച്ചാലും അവന്‍ നിങ്ങളുടെ നേര്‍ക്ക്‌ കാണിച്ച അതിക്രമത്തിന്‌ തുല്യമായി അവന്റെ നേരെയും അതിക്രമം കാണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങള്‍ അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും, അല്ലാഹു സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുന്നവരോടൊപ്പമാണെന്ന്‌ മനസ്സിലാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക.(194)
(194) الشَّهْرُ الْحَرَامُ بِالشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ وَالْحُرُمَاتُ قِصَاصٌ ۚ فَمَنِ اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاعْتَدُوا عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا اعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَ الْمُتَّقِينَ
The sacred month is for the sacred month, and for the prohibited things, there is the Law of Equality (Qisas). Then whoever transgresses the prohibition against you, you transgress likewise against him. And fear Allah, and know that Allah is with Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).(194)
