(അല്ലാഹുവോട്) പങ്കുചേര്ത്തവര് തങ്ങള് പങ്കാളികളാക്കിയിരുന്നവരെ (പരലോകത്ത് വെച്ച്) കണ്ടാല് ഇപ്രകാരം പറയും: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നിനക്കു പുറമെ ഞങ്ങള് വിളിച്ച് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കാറുണ്ടായിരുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ പങ്കാളികളാണിവര്. അപ്പോള് അവര് (പങ്കാളികള്) അവര്ക്ക് നല്കുന്ന മറുപടി തീര്ച്ചയായും നിങ്ങള് കള്ളം പറയുന്നവരാകുന്നു എന്ന വാക്കായിരിക്കും.(86)
(86) وَإِذَا رَأَى الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا شُرَكَاءَهُمْ قَالُوا رَبَّنَا هَٰؤُلَاءِ شُرَكَاؤُنَا الَّذِينَ كُنَّا نَدْعُو مِنْ دُونِكَ ۖ فَأَلْقَوْا إِلَيْهِمُ الْقَوْلَ إِنَّكُمْ لَكَاذِبُونَ
And when those who associated partners with Allah see their (Allah's so-called) partners, they will say: "Our Lord! These are our partners whom we used to invoke besides you." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Surely! You indeed are liars!"(86)
