അല്ലാഹുവെ തന്നെയാണ, താങ്കള്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല സമുദായങ്ങളിലേക്കും നാം ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് പിശാച് അവര്ക്ക് അവരുടെ (ദുഷ്) പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് അലങ്കാരമായി തോന്നിക്കുകയാണ് ചെയ്തത്. അങ്ങനെ അവനാണ് ഇന്ന് അവരുടെ മിത്രം. അവര്ക്കുള്ളതാകട്ടെ വേദനാജനകമായ ശിക്ഷയാണ് താനും.(63)
(63) تَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَىٰ أُمَمٍ مِنْ قَبْلِكَ فَزَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ أَعْمَالَهُمْ فَهُوَ وَلِيُّهُمُ الْيَوْمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
By Allah, We indeed sent (Messengers) to the nations before you (O Muhammad SAW), but Shaitan (Satan) made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So he (Satan) is their Wali (helper) today (i.e. in this world), and theirs will be a painful torment.(63)
