അവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരും തന്ത്രം പ്രയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അപ്പോള് അവര് കെട്ടിപൊക്കിയതിന്റെ അടിത്തറകള്ക്ക് തന്നെ അല്ലാഹു നാശം വരുത്തി. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ മുകള് ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് മേല്ക്കൂര അവരുടെ മേല് പൊളിഞ്ഞുവീണു. അവര് ഓര്ക്കാത്ത ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ശിക്ഷ അവര്ക്ക് വരികയും ചെയ്തു.(26)
(26) قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Those before them indeed plotted, but Allah struck at the foundation of their building, and then the roof fell down upon them, from above them, and the torment overtook them from directions they did not perceive.(26)
