ബുദ്ധിമാന്മാരേ, (അങ്ങനെ) തുല്യശിക്ഷ നല്കുന്നതിലാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ നിലനില്പ്. നിങ്ങള് സൂക്ഷ്മത പാലിക്കുന്നതിനു വേണ്ടിയത്രെ (ഈ നിയമനിര്ദേശങ്ങള്).(179)
(179) وَلَكُمْ فِي الْقِصَاصِ حَيَاةٌ يَا أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
And there is (a saving of) life for you in Al-Qisas (the Law of Equality in punishment), O men of understanding, that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).(179)
