അദ്ദേഹം (യൂസുഫ്) പറഞ്ഞു: താങ്കള് എന്നെ ഭൂമിയിലെ ഖജനാവുകളുടെ അധികാരമേല്പിക്കൂ. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞാന് വിവരമുള്ള ഒരു സൂക്ഷിപ്പുകാരനായിരിക്കും.(55)
(55) قَالَ اجْعَلْنِي عَلَىٰ خَزَائِنِ الْأَرْضِ ۖ إِنِّي حَفِيظٌ عَلِيمٌ
[Yusuf (Joseph)] said: "Set me over the storehouses of the land; I will indeed guard them with full knowledge" (as a minister of finance in Egypt, in place of Al-'Aziz who was dead at that time).(55)
