അത് (ഞാനങ്ങനെ പറയുന്നത്, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ) അസാന്നിദ്ധ്യത്തില് ഞാന് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വഞ്ചിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം അറിയുന്നതിന് വേണ്ടിയാകുന്നു. വഞ്ചകന്മാരുടെ തന്ത്രത്തെ അല്ലാഹു ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലെത്തിക്കുകയില്ല എന്നതിനാലുമാകുന്നു.(52)
(52) ذَٰلِكَ لِيَعْلَمَ أَنِّي لَمْ أَخُنْهُ بِالْغَيْبِ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي كَيْدَ الْخَائِنِينَ
[Then Yusuf (Joseph) said: "I asked for this enquiry] in order that he (Al-'Aziz) may know that I betrayed him not in secret. And, verily! Allah guides not the plot of the betrayers.(52)
