അവന് (യൂസുഫ്) ഏതൊരുവളുടെ വീട്ടിലാണോ അവള് അവനെ വശീകരിക്കുവാന് ശ്രമം നടത്തി. വാതിലുകള് അടച്ച് പൂട്ടിയിട്ട് അവള് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇങ്ങോട്ട് വാ. അവന് പറഞ്ഞു. അല്ലാഹുവില് ശരണം! നിശ്ചയമായും അവനാണ് എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ്. അവന് എന്റെ താമസം ക്ഷേമകരമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അക്രമം പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നവര് വിജയിക്കുകയില്ല.(23)
(23) وَرَاوَدَتْهُ الَّتِي هُوَ فِي بَيْتِهَا عَنْ نَفْسِهِ وَغَلَّقَتِ الْأَبْوَابَ وَقَالَتْ هَيْتَ لَكَ ۚ قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُ رَبِّي أَحْسَنَ مَثْوَايَ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَا يُفْلِحُ الظَّالِمُونَ
And she, in whose house he was, sought to seduce him (to do an evil act), she closed the doors and said: "Come on, O you." He said: "I seek refuge in Allah (or Allah forbid)! Truly, he (your husband) is my master! He made my stay agreeable! (So I will never betray him). Verily, the Zalimun (wrong and evil-doers) will never be successful."(23)
