യൂസുഫും അവന്റെ സഹോദരനുമാണ് നമ്മുടെ പിതാവിന് നമ്മളെക്കാള് ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവര്. നമ്മളാകട്ടെ ഒരു (പ്രബലമായ) സംഘമാണ് താനും. തീര്ച്ചയായും നമ്മുടെ പിതാവ് വ്യക്തമായ വഴിപിഴവില് തന്നെയാണ്.(8)
(8) إِذْ قَالُوا لَيُوسُفُ وَأَخُوهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىٰ أَبِينَا مِنَّا وَنَحْنُ عُصْبَةٌ إِنَّ أَبَانَا لَفِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ
When they said: "Truly, Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother (Benjamin) are loved more by our father than we, but we are 'Usbah (a strong group). Really, our father is in a plain error.(8)
