അവന് പറഞ്ഞു: വെള്ളത്തില് നിന്ന് എനിക്ക് രക്ഷനല്കുന്ന വല്ല മലയിലും ഞാന് അഭയം പ്രാപിച്ചുകൊള്ളാം. അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ കല്പനയില് നിന്ന് ഇന്ന് രക്ഷനല്കാന് ആരുമില്ല; അവന് കരുണ ചെയ്തവര്ക്കൊഴികെ. (അപ്പോഴേക്കും) അവര് രണ്ട് പേര്ക്കുമിടയില് തിരമാല മറയിട്ടു. അങ്ങനെ അവന് മുക്കി നശിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലായി.(43)
(43) قَالَ سَآوِي إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِي مِنَ الْمَاءِ ۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ الْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا مَنْ رَحِمَ ۚ وَحَالَ بَيْنَهُمَا الْمَوْجُ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُغْرَقِينَ
The son replied: "I will betake myself to a mountain, it will save me from the water." Nuh (Noah) said: "This day there is no saviourfrom the Decree of Allah except him on whom He has mercy." And a wave came in between them, so he (the son) was among the drowned.(43)
