ഇവര് ഇതുവരെ (പ്രാര്ത്ഥനാവേളയില്) തിരിഞ്ഞുനിന്നിരുന്ന ഭാഗത്ത് നിന്ന് ഇവരെ തിരിച്ചുവിട്ട കാരണമെന്താണെന്ന് മൂഢന്മാരായ ആളുകള് ചോദിച്ചേക്കും. (നബിയേ,) പറയുക : അല്ലാഹുവിന്റേത് തന്നെയാണ് കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറുമെല്ലാം. അവന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ അവന് നേരായ മാര്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു.(142)
(142) ۞ سَيَقُولُ السُّفَهَاءُ مِنَ النَّاسِ مَا وَلَّاهُمْ عَنْ قِبْلَتِهِمُ الَّتِي كَانُوا عَلَيْهَا ۚ قُلْ لِلَّهِ الْمَشْرِقُ وَالْمَغْرِبُ ۚ يَهْدِي مَنْ يَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيمٍ
The fools (pagans, hypocrites, and Jews) among the people will say, "What has turned them (Muslims) from their Qiblah [prayer direction (towards Jerusalem)] to which they were used to face in prayer." Say, (O Muhammad SAW) "To Allah belong both, east and the west. He guides whom He wills to a Straight Way."(142)
