അവന്ന് ഒരു കഷ്ടത ബാധിച്ചതിന് ശേഷം നാമവന്ന് ഒരു അനുഗ്രഹം ആസ്വദിപ്പിച്ചുവെങ്കിലോ നിശ്ചയമായും അവന് പറയും; തിന്മകള് എന്നില് നിന്ന് ഒഴിഞ്ഞ് പോയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ആഹ്ലാദഭരിതനും അഹങ്കാരിയുമാകുന്നു.(10)
(10) وَلَئِنْ أَذَقْنَاهُ نَعْمَاءَ بَعْدَ ضَرَّاءَ مَسَّتْهُ لَيَقُولَنَّ ذَهَبَ السَّيِّئَاتُ عَنِّي ۚ إِنَّهُ لَفَرِحٌ فَخُورٌ
But if We let him taste good (favour) after evil (poverty and harm) has touched him, he is sure to say: "Ills have departed from me." Surely, he is exultant, and boastful (ungrateful to Allah).(10)
