നിങ്ങള് യഹൂദരോ ക്രൈസ്തവരോ ആയാലേ നേര്വഴിയിലാകൂ എന്നാണവര് പറയുന്നത്. എന്നാല് നീ പറയുക: അതല്ല വക്രതയില്ലാത്ത ശുദ്ധമനസ്കനായിരുന്ന ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്റെ മാര്ഗമാണ് (പിന്പറ്റേണ്ടത്.) അദ്ദേഹം ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരില് പെട്ടവനായിരുന്നില്ല.(135)
(135) وَقَالُوا كُونُوا هُودًا أَوْ نَصَارَىٰ تَهْتَدُوا ۗ قُلْ بَلْ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَنِيفًا ۖ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ
And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided." Say (to them, O Muhammad Peace be upon him), "Nay, (We follow) only the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa [Islamic Monotheism, i.e. to worship none but Allah (Alone)], and he was not of Al-Mushrikun (those who worshipped others along with Allah - see V. 2:105)."(135)
