എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ ഇതൊരു നിര്ഭയമായ നാടാക്കുകയും ഇവിടത്തെ താമസക്കാരില് നിന്ന് അല്ലാഹുവിലും അന്ത്യദിനത്തിലും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവര്ക്ക് കായ്കനികള് ആഹാരമായി നല്കുകയും ചെയ്യേണമേ എന്ന് ഇബ്രാഹീം പ്രാര്ത്ഥിച്ച സന്ദര്ഭവും (ഓര്ക്കുക) അല്ലാഹു പറഞ്ഞു: അവിശ്വസിച്ചവന്നും (ഞാന് ആഹാരം നല്കുന്നതാണ്.) പക്ഷെ, അല്പകാലത്തെ ജീവിതസുഖം മാത്രമാണ് അവന്ന് ഞാന് നല്കുക. പിന്നീട് നരകശിക്ഷ ഏല്ക്കാന് ഞാന് അവനെ നിര്ബന്ധിതനാക്കുന്നതാണ്. (അവന്ന്) ചെന്നു ചേരാനുള്ള ആ സ്ഥലം വളരെ ചീത്ത തന്നെ.(126)
(126) وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ رَبِّ اجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا آمِنًا وَارْزُقْ أَهْلَهُ مِنَ الثَّمَرَاتِ مَنْ آمَنَ مِنْهُمْ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ النَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ
And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allah and the Last Day." He (Allah) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!"(126)
