അവരുടെ (ഇസ്രായീല്യരുടെ) മേല് ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിന്റെ നാളുവരെ അവര്ക്കു ഹീനമായ ശിക്ഷ ഏല്പിച്ച് കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവരെ നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് നിയോഗിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമെന്ന് അവന് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച സന്ദര്ഭവും ഓര്ക്കുക. തീര്ച്ചയായും നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് അതിവേഗം ശിക്ഷ നടപ്പാക്കുന്നവനാണ്. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവന് ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമത്രെ.(167)
(167) وَإِذْ تَأَذَّنَ رَبُّكَ لَيَبْعَثَنَّ عَلَيْهِمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ مَنْ يَسُومُهُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ ۗ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَسَرِيعُ الْعِقَابِ ۖ وَإِنَّهُ لَغَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
And (remember) when your Lord declared that He would certainly keep on sending against them (i.e. the Jews), till the Day of Resurrection, those who would afflict them with a humiliating torment. Verily, your Lord is Quick in Retribution (for the disobedient, wicked) and certainly He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (for the obedient and those who beg Allah's Forgiveness).(167)
