നിങ്ങള് ഈ രാജ്യത്ത് താമസിക്കുകയും ഇവിടെ നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്ത് നിന്ന് തിന്നുകയും ചെയ്ത് കൊള്ളുക. നിങ്ങള് പാപമോചനത്തിന് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുകയും, തലകുനിച്ച് കൊണ്ട് പട്ടണവാതില് കടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. എങ്കില് നിങ്ങളുടെ തെറ്റുകള് നിങ്ങള്ക്കു നാം പൊറുത്തുതരുന്നതാണ്. സല്കര്മ്മകാരികള്ക്ക് വഴിയെ നാം കൂടുതല് കൊടുക്കുന്നതുമാണ് എന്ന് അവരോട് പറയപ്പെട്ട സന്ദര്ഭവും (ഓര്ക്കുക.)(161)
(161) وَإِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمُ اسْكُنُوا هَٰذِهِ الْقَرْيَةَ وَكُلُوا مِنْهَا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمْ وَقُولُوا حِطَّةٌ وَادْخُلُوا الْبَابَ سُجَّدًا نَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ خَطِيئَاتِكُمْ ۚ سَنَزِيدُ الْمُحْسِنِينَ
And (remember) when it was said to them: "Dwell in this town (Jerusalem) and eat therefrom wherever you wish, and say, '(O Allah) forgive our sins'; and enter the gate prostrate (bowing with humility). We shall forgive you your wrong-doings. We shall increase (the reward) for the good-doers."(161)
