ആ നാടുകളുടെ വൃത്താന്തങ്ങളില് ചിലത് നാം നിനക്ക് വിവരിച്ചുതരികയാണ്. അവരിലേക്കയക്കപ്പെട്ട ദൂതന്മാര് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുകയുണ്ടായി. എന്നിട്ടും മുമ്പ് അവര് നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിയിരുന്നതില് അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയുണ്ടായില്ല. സത്യനിഷേധികളുടെ ഹൃദയങ്ങളിന്മേല് അപ്രകാരം അല്ലാഹു മുദ്രവെക്കും.(101)
(101) تِلْكَ الْقُرَىٰ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ مِنْ أَنْبَائِهَا ۚ وَلَقَدْ جَاءَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا كَانُوا لِيُؤْمِنُوا بِمَا كَذَّبُوا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِ الْكَافِرِينَ
Those were the towns whose story We relate unto you (O Muhammad SAW). And there came indeed to them their Messengers with clear proofs, but they were not such as to believe in that which they had rejected before. Thus Allah does seal up the hearts of the disbelievers (from each and every kind of religious guidance).(101)
