എന്നാല് അവര് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹത്തെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൂടെയുള്ളവരെയും നാം കപ്പലില് രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തുകയും, നമ്മുടെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള് നിഷേധിച്ചു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞവരെ നാം മുക്കിക്കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് അന്ധരായ ഒരു ജനതയായിരുന്നു.(64)
(64) فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَنْجَيْنَاهُ وَالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ وَأَغْرَقْنَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا بِآيَاتِنَا ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا عَمِينَ
But they belied him, so We saved him and those along with him in the ship, and We drowned those who belied Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.). They were indeed a blind people.(64)
