അതിലുള്ളത് പുലര്ന്ന് കാണുക എന്നതല്ലാതെ മറ്റുവല്ലതുമാണോ അവര് നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്? മുമ്പ് അതിനെ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞവര് അതിന്റെ പുലര്ച്ചവന്നെത്തുന്ന ദിവസത്തില് പറയും: ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ ദൂതന്മാര് സത്യവും കൊണ്ട് തന്നെയാണ് വന്നത്. ഇനി ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ശുപാര്ശ ചെയ്യാന് വല്ല ശുപാര്ശക്കാരുമുണ്ടോ? അതല്ല, ഞങ്ങളൊന്ന് തിരിച്ചയക്കപ്പെടുമോ? എങ്കില് ഞങ്ങള് മുമ്പ് ചെയ്തിരുന്നതില് നിന്ന് വ്യത്യസ്തമായി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുമായിരുന്നു. തങ്ങള്ക്ക് തന്നെ അവര് നഷ്ടം വരുത്തിവെച്ചു. അവര് കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചിരുന്നതെല്ലാം അവരെ വിട്ട് പോയിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്തു.(53)
(53) هَلْ يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا تَأْوِيلَهُ ۚ يَوْمَ يَأْتِي تَأْوِيلُهُ يَقُولُ الَّذِينَ نَسُوهُ مِنْ قَبْلُ قَدْ جَاءَتْ رُسُلُ رَبِّنَا بِالْحَقِّ فَهَلْ لَنَا مِنْ شُفَعَاءَ فَيَشْفَعُوا لَنَا أَوْ نُرَدُّ فَنَعْمَلَ غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ ۚ قَدْ خَسِرُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَضَلَّ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَفْتَرُونَ
Await they just for the final fulfillment of the event? On the Day the event is finally fulfilled (i.e. the Day of Resurrection), those who neglected it before will say: "Verily, the Messengers of our Lord did come with the truth, now are there any intercessors for us that they might intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back (to the first life of the world) so that we might do (good) deeds other than those (evil) deeds which we used to do?" Verily, they have lost their ownselves (i.e. destroyed themselves) and that which they used to fabricate (invoking and worshipping others besides Allah) has gone away from them.(53)
