ഒരു കുഴപ്പവുമുണ്ടാകുകയില്ലെന്ന് അവര് കണക്ക് കൂട്ടുകയും, അങ്ങനെ അവര് അന്ധരും ബധിരരുമായികഴിയുകയും ചെയ്തു. പിന്നീട് അല്ലാഹു അവരുടെ പശ്ചാത്താപം സ്വീകരിച്ചു. വീണ്ടും അവരില് അധികപേരും അന്ധരും ബധിരരുമായിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു. എന്നാല് അല്ലാഹു അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.(71)
(71) وَحَسِبُوا أَلَّا تَكُونَ فِتْنَةٌ فَعَمُوا وَصَمُّوا ثُمَّ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ عَمُوا وَصَمُّوا كَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ ۚ وَاللَّهُ بَصِيرٌ بِمَا يَعْمَلُونَ
They thought there will be no Fitnah (trial or punishment), so they became blind and deaf; after that Allah turned to them (with Forgiveness); yet again many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is the All-Seer of what they do.(71)
