വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് മുമ്പ് യൂസുഫ് നിങ്ങളുടെ അടുത്ത് വരികയുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. അപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് കൊണ്ടുവന്നതിനെ പറ്റി നിങ്ങള് സംശയത്തിലായിക്കൊണേ്ടയിരുന്നു. എന്നിട്ട് അദ്ദേഹം മരണപ്പെട്ടപ്പോള് ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനു ശേഷം അല്ലാഹു ഇനി ഒരു ദൂതനെയും നിയോഗിക്കുകയേ ഇല്ല എന്ന് നിങ്ങള് പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്രകാരം അതിക്രമകാരിയും സംശയാലുവുമായിട്ടുള്ളതാരോ അവരെ അല്ലാഹു വഴിതെറ്റിക്കുന്നു.(34)
(34) وَلَقَدْ جَاءَكُمْ يُوسُفُ مِنْ قَبْلُ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَمَا زِلْتُمْ فِي شَكٍّ مِمَّا جَاءَكُمْ بِهِ ۖ حَتَّىٰ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَنْ يَبْعَثَ اللَّهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ رَسُولًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُرْتَابٌ
And indeed Yusuf (Joseph) did come to you, in times gone by, with clear signs, but you ceased not to doubt in that which he did bring to you, till when he died you said: "No Messenger will Allah send after him." Thus Allah leaves astray him who is a Musrif (a polytheist, oppressor, a criminal, sinner who commit great sins) and a Murtab (one who doubts Allah's Warning and His Oneness).(34)
