തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളോട് നല്ല നിലയില് വര്ത്തിക്കാന് മനുഷ്യനോട് നാം അനുശാസിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. നിനക്ക് യാതൊരു അറിവുമില്ലാത്ത ഒന്നിനെ എന്നോട് പങ്കുചേര്ക്കുവാന് അവര് (മാതാപിതാക്കള്) നിന്നോട് നിര്ബന്ധപൂര്വ്വം ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടാല് അവരെ നീ അനുസരിച്ച് പോകരുത്. എന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കാണ് നിങ്ങളുടെ മടക്കം. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങള് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിരുന്നതിനെപ്പറ്റി ഞാന് നിങ്ങളെ വിവരമറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ്.(8)
(8) وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِنْ جَاهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَا ۚ إِلَيَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
And We have enjoined on man to be good and dutiful to his parents, but if they strive to make you join with Me (in worship) anything (as a partner) of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not. Unto Me is your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do.(8)
