അപ്പോള് നാം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഉത്തരം നല്കുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് (മകന്) യഹ്യായെ നാം പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ നാം (ഗര്ഭധാരണത്തിന്) പ്രാപ്തയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് (പ്രവാചകന്മാര്) ഉത്തമകാര്യങ്ങള്ക്ക് ധൃതികാണിക്കുകയും, ആശിച്ച് കൊണ്ടും, പേടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടും നമ്മോട് പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിരുന്നു. അവര് നമ്മോട് താഴ്മ കാണിക്കുന്നവരുമായിരുന്നു.(90)
(90) فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُ يَحْيَىٰ وَأَصْلَحْنَا لَهُ زَوْجَهُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَارِعُونَ فِي الْخَيْرَاتِ وَيَدْعُونَنَا رَغَبًا وَرَهَبًا ۖ وَكَانُوا لَنَا خَاشِعِينَ
So We answered his call, and We bestowed upon him Yahya (John), and cured his wife (to bear a child) for him. Verily, they used to hasten on to do good deeds, and they used to call on Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us.(90)
