ഈജിപ്തില് നിന്ന് അവനെ (യൂസുഫിനെ) വിലക്കെടുത്ത ആള് തന്റെ ഭാര്യയോട് പറഞ്ഞു: ഇവന്ന് മാന്യമായ താമസസൌകര്യം നല്കുക. അവന് നമുക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെട്ടേക്കാം. അല്ലെങ്കില് നമുക്കവനെ മകനായി സ്വീകരിക്കാം. അപ്രകാരം യൂസുഫിന് നാം ആ ഭൂപ്രദേശത്ത് സൌകര്യമുണ്ടാക്കികൊടുത്തു. സ്വപ്നവാര്ത്തകളുടെ വ്യാഖ്യാനത്തില് നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം അറിയിച്ച് കൊടുക്കാന് വേണ്ടിയും കൂടിയാണത്. അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ കാര്യം ജയിച്ചടക്കുന്നവനത്രെ. പക്ഷെ മനുഷ്യരില് അധികപേരും അത് മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല.(21)
(21) وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِنْ مِصْرَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي مَثْوَاهُ عَسَىٰ أَنْ يَنْفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِنْ تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰ أَمْرِهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
And he (the man) from Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay comfortable, may be he will profit us or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Yusuf (Joseph) in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.(21)
