നീ അവര്ക്ക് ഏതെങ്കിലും ദൃഷ്ടാന്തം കൊണ്ട് വന്ന് കൊടുത്തില്ലെങ്കില് അവര് പറയും: നിനക്ക് തന്നെ അത് സ്വയം കെട്ടിച്ചമച്ചുണ്ടാക്കിക്കൂടേ? (നബിയേ,) പറയുക: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് നിന്ന് ബോധനം നല്കപ്പെടുന്നതിനെ പിന്പറ്റുക മാത്രമാണ് ഞാന് ചെയ്യുന്നത്. നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിങ്കല് നിന്നുള്ള കണ്ണുതുറപ്പിക്കുന്ന തെളിവുകളും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് മാര്ഗദര്ശനവും കാരുണ്യവുമാണ് ഇത് (ഖുര്ആന്.)(203)
(203) وَإِذَا لَمْ تَأْتِهِمْ بِآيَةٍ قَالُوا لَوْلَا اجْتَبَيْتَهَا ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَتَّبِعُ مَا يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ مِنْ رَبِّي ۚ هَٰذَا بَصَائِرُ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ
And if you do not bring them a miracle [according to their (i.e. Quraish-pagans') proposal], they say: "Why have you not brought it?" Say: "I but follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (the Quran) is nothing but evidences from your Lord, and a guidance and a mercy for a people who believe."(203)
