അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സുകള് അടഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുകയാണ്. എന്നാല് (അതല്ല ശരി) അവരുടെ നിഷേധം കാരണമായി അല്ലാഹു അവരെ ശപിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അതിനാല് വളരെ കുറച്ചേ അവര് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ.(88)
(88) وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا غُلْفٌ ۚ بَلْ لَعَنَهُمُ اللَّهُ بِكُفْرِهِمْ فَقَلِيلًا مَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
And they say, "Our hearts are wrapped (i.e. do not hear or understand Allah's Word)." Nay, Allah has cursed them for their disbelief, so little is that which they believe.(88)
