സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് മുമ്പ് വേദഗ്രന്ഥം നല്കപ്പെട്ടവരില് നിന്ന് നിങ്ങളുടെ മതത്തെ തമാശയും വിനോദവിഷയവുമാക്കി തീര്ത്തവരെയും, സത്യനിഷേധികളെയും നിങ്ങള് ഉറ്റമിത്രങ്ങളായി സ്വീകരിക്കരുത്. നിങ്ങള് സത്യവിശ്വാസികളാണെങ്കില് അല്ലാഹുവെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുവിന്.(57)
(57) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الَّذِينَ اتَّخَذُوا دِينَكُمْ هُزُوًا وَلَعِبًا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَالْكُفَّارَ أَوْلِيَاءَ ۚ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ
O you who believe! Take not for Auliya' (protectors and helpers) those who take your religion for a mockery and fun from among those who received the Scripture (Jews and Christians) before you, nor from among the disbelievers; and fear Allah if you indeed are true believers.(57)
