നാം നിങ്ങളോട് കരാര് വാങ്ങുകയും നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് മീതെ പര്വ്വതത്തെ നാം ഉയര്ത്തിപ്പിടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത സന്ദര്ഭം (ഓര്ക്കുക). നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം നല്കിയത് ഗൌരവബുദ്ധിയോടെ ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയും, ദോഷബാധയെ സൂക്ഷിക്കുവാന് വേണ്ടി അതില് നിര്ദേശിച്ചത് ഓര്മിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക (എന്ന് നാം അനുശാസിച്ചു).(63)
(63) وَإِذْ أَخَذْنَا مِيثَاقَكُمْ وَرَفَعْنَا فَوْقَكُمُ الطُّورَ خُذُوا مَا آتَيْنَاكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَاذْكُرُوا مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
And (O Children of Israel, remember) when We took your covenant and We raised above you the Mount (saying): "Hold fast to that which We have given you, and remember that which is therein so that you may become Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).(63)
