നൂഹ് പറഞ്ഞു: എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, തീര്ച്ചയായും ഇവര് എന്നോട് അനുസരണക്കേട് കാണിക്കുകയും ഒരു വിഭാഗത്തെ പിന്തുടരുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവര്ക്ക് (പിന്തുടരപ്പെട്ട നേതൃവിഭാഗത്തിന്) സ്വത്തും സന്താനവും മൂലം (ആത്മീയവും പാരത്രികവുമായ) നഷ്ടം കൂടുക മാത്രമാണുണ്ടായത്.(21)
(21) قَالَ نُوحٌ رَبِّ إِنَّهُمْ عَصَوْنِي وَاتَّبَعُوا مَنْ لَمْ يَزِدْهُ مَالُهُ وَوَلَدُهُ إِلَّا خَسَارًا
Nuh (Noah) said: "My Lord! They have disobeyed me, and followed one whose wealth and children give him no increase but only loss.(21)
