നബിയേ, നിങ്ങള്‍ (വിശ്വാസികള്‍) സ്ത്രീകളെ വിവാഹമോചനം ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ അവരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ അവരുടെ ഇദ്ദഃ കാലത്തിന്‌ (കണക്കാക്കി) വിവാഹമോചനം ചെയ്യുകയും ഇദ്ദഃ കാലം നിങ്ങള്‍ എണ്ണികണക്കാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ അല്ലാഹുവെ നിങ്ങള്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. അവരുടെ വീടുകളില്‍ നിന്ന്‌ അവരെ നിങ്ങള്‍ പുറത്താക്കരുത്‌. അവര്‍ പുറത്തു പോകുകയും ചെയ്യരുത്‌. പ്രത്യക്ഷമായ വല്ല നീചവൃത്തിയും അവര്‍ ചെയ്യുകയാണെങ്കിലല്ലാതെ. അവ അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നിയമപരിധികളാകാകുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിന്‍റെ നിയമപരിധികളെ വല്ലവനും അതിലംഘിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം, അവന്‍ അവനോട്‌ തന്നെ അന്യായം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിന്‌ ശേഷം അല്ലാഹു പുതുതായി വല്ലകാര്യവും കൊണ്ടു വന്നേക്കുമോ എന്ന്‌ നിനക്ക്‌ അറിയില്ല.(1)
(1) بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ إِذَا طَلَّقْتُمُ النِّسَاءَ فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّ لِعِدَّتِهِنَّ وَأَحْصُوا الْعِدَّةَ ۖ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ رَبَّكُمْ ۖ لَا تُخْرِجُوهُنَّ مِنْ بُيُوتِهِنَّ وَلَا يَخْرُجْنَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْتِينَ بِفَاحِشَةٍ مُبَيِّنَةٍ ۚ وَتِلْكَ حُدُودُ اللَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَتَعَدَّ حُدُودَ اللَّهِ فَقَدْ ظَلَمَ نَفْسَهُ ۚ لَا تَدْرِي لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ أَمْرًا
O Prophet (SAW)! When you divorce women, divorce them at their 'Iddah (prescribed periods), and count (accurately) their 'Iddah (periods). And fear Allah your Lord (O Muslims), and turn them not out of their (husband's) homes, nor shall they (themselves) leave, except in case they are guilty of some open illegal sexual intercourse. And those are the set limits of Allah. And whosoever transgresses the set limits of Allah, then indeed he has wronged himself. You (the one who divorces his wife) know not, it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass (i.e. to return her back to you if that was the first or second divorce).(1)
