അതിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്റെ കല്പന പ്രകാരം സകല വസ്തുക്കളെയും അത് നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ അവര് താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന സ്ഥലങ്ങളല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നും കാണപ്പെടാത്ത അവസ്ഥയില് അവര് ആയിത്തീര്ന്നു. അപ്രകാരമാണ് കുറ്റവാളികളായ ജനങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം പ്രതിഫലം നല്കുന്നത്.(25)
(25) تُدَمِّرُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِأَمْرِ رَبِّهَا فَأَصْبَحُوا لَا يُرَىٰ إِلَّا مَسَاكِنُهُمْ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِي الْقَوْمَ الْمُجْرِمِينَ
Destroying everything by the Command of its Lord! So they became such that nothing could be seen except their dwellings! Thus do We recompense the people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, etc.)!(25)
