(നബിയേ,) പറയുക: അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ നിങ്ങള് വിളിച്ചു പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കുന്നതിനെ പറ്റി നിങ്ങള് ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ? ഭൂമിയില് അവര് എന്താണ് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതെന്ന് നിങ്ങള് എനിക്ക് കാണിച്ചുതരൂ. അതല്ല ആകാശങ്ങളുടെ സൃഷ്ടിയില് വല്ല പങ്കും അവര്ക്കുണ്ടോ? നിങ്ങള് സത്യവാന്മാരാണെങ്കില് ഇതിന് മുമ്പുള്ള ഏതെങ്കിലും വേദഗ്രന്ഥമോ, അറിവിന്റെ വല്ല അംശമോ നിങ്ങള് എനിക്ക് കൊണ്ടു വന്നു തരൂ.(4)
(4) قُلْ أَرَأَيْتُمْ مَا تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ أَرُونِي مَاذَا خَلَقُوا مِنَ الْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ ۖ ائْتُونِي بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ قَبْلِ هَٰذَا أَوْ أَثَارَةٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
Say (O Muhammad SAW to these pagans): "Think! All that you invoke besides Allah show me! What have they created of the earth? Or have they a share in (the creation of) the heavens? Bring me a Book (revealed before this), or some trace of knowledge (in support of your claims), if you are truthful!"(4)
