അങ്ങനെ ദുരിതം പിടിച്ച ഏതാനും ദിവസങ്ങളില് അവരുടെ നേര്ക്ക് ഉഗ്രമായ ഒരു ശീതക്കാറ്റ് നാം അയച്ചു. ഐഹികജീവിതത്തില് അവര്ക്ക് അപമാനകരമായ ശിക്ഷ നാം ആസ്വദിപ്പിക്കാന് വേണ്ടിയത്രെ അത്. എന്നാല് പരലോകത്തിലെ ശിക്ഷയാണ് കൂടുതല് അപമാനകരം. അവര്ക്ക് സഹായമൊന്നും നല്കപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല.(16)
(16) فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا صَرْصَرًا فِي أَيَّامٍ نَحِسَاتٍ لِنُذِيقَهُمْ عَذَابَ الْخِزْيِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا ۖ وَلَعَذَابُ الْآخِرَةِ أَخْزَىٰ ۖ وَهُمْ لَا يُنْصَرُونَ
So We sent upon them furious wind in days of evil omen (for them) that We might give them a taste of disgracing torment in this present worldly life, but surely the torment of the Hereafter will be more disgracing, and they will never be helped.(16)
