ഇവരുടെ മുമ്പുള്ളവരും ഇപ്രകാരം പറയുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് അവര് സമ്പാദിച്ചിരുന്നത് അവര്ക്ക് പ്രയോജനപ്പെടുകയുണ്ടായില്ല.(50)
(50) قَدْ قَالَهَا الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَمَا أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Verily, those before them said it, yet (all) that they had earned availed them not.(50)
