ലുഖ്മാന് നാം തത്വജ്ഞാനം നല്കുകയുണ്ടായി, നീ അല്ലാഹുവോട് നന്ദികാണിക്കുക. ആര് നന്ദികാണിച്ചാലും തന്റെ ഗുണത്തിനായി തന്നെയാണ് അവന് നന്ദികാണിക്കുന്നത്. വല്ലവനും നന്ദികേട് കാണിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹു പരാശ്രയമുക്തനും സ്തുത്യര്ഹനുമാകുന്നു. (എന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തോട് നാം അനുശാസിച്ചു.)(12)
(12) وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا لُقْمَانَ الْحِكْمَةَ أَنِ اشْكُرْ لِلَّهِ ۚ وَمَنْ يَشْكُرْ فَإِنَّمَا يَشْكُرُ لِنَفْسِهِ ۖ وَمَنْ كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ
And indeed We bestowed upon Luqman Al-Hikmah (wisdom and religious understanding, etc.) saying: "Give thanks to Allah," and whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good of) his ownself. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allah is All-Rich (Free of all wants), Worthy of all praise.(12)
