ഇതിന് മുമ്പ് -ആ മഴ അവരുടെ മേല് വര്ഷിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് -തീര്ച്ചയായും അവര് ആശയറ്റവര് തന്നെയായിരുന്നു.(49)
(49) وَإِنْ كَانُوا مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمُبْلِسِينَ
And verily before that (rain), just before it was sent down upon them, they were in despair!(49)
