നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് പല ദൂതന്മാരെയും അവരുടെ ജനതയിലേക്ക് നാം നിയോഗിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നിട്ട് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് അവര് (ദൂതന്മാര്) അവരുടെയടുത്ത് ചെന്നു. അപ്പോള് കുറ്റകരമായ നിലപാട് സ്വീകരിച്ചവരുടെ കാര്യത്തില് നാം ശിക്ഷാനടപടി സ്വീകരിച്ചു. വിശ്വാസികളെ സഹായിക്കുക എന്നത് നമ്മുടെ ബാധ്യതയായിരിക്കുന്നു.(47)
(47) وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَاءُوهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ فَانْتَقَمْنَا مِنَ الَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
And indeed We did send Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW) to their own peoples. They came to them with clear proofs, then, We took vengeance on those who committed crimes (disbelief, setting partners in worship with Allah, sins, etc.), and (as for) the believers it was incumbent upon Us to help (them).(47)
