അങ്ങനെ അവന് (ദൂതന്) സുലൈമാന്റെ അടുത്ത് ചെന്നപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് സമ്പത്ത് തന്ന് എന്നെ സഹായിക്കുകയാണോ? എന്നാല് എനിക്ക് അല്ലാഹു നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതാണ് നിങ്ങള്ക്കവന് നല്കിയിട്ടുള്ളതിനെക്കാള് ഉത്തമം. പക്ഷെ, നിങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ പാരിതോഷികം കൊണ്ട് സന്തോഷം കൊള്ളുകയാകുന്നു.(36)
(36) فَلَمَّا جَاءَ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ أَتُمِدُّونَنِ بِمَالٍ فَمَا آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ خَيْرٌ مِمَّا آتَاكُمْ بَلْ أَنْتُمْ بِهَدِيَّتِكُمْ تَفْرَحُونَ
So when (the messengers with the present) came to Sulaiman (Solomon), he said: "Will you help me in wealth? What Allah has given me is better than that which He has given you! Nay, you rejoice in your gift!"(36)
