നൂഹിന്റെ ജനതയേയും (നാം നശിപ്പിച്ചു.) അവര് ദൂതന്മാരെ നിഷേധിച്ചു കളഞ്ഞപ്പോള് നാം അവരെ മുക്കി നശിപ്പിച്ചു. അവരെ നാം മനുഷ്യര്ക്ക് ഒരു ദൃഷ്ടാന്തമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. അക്രമികള്ക്ക് (പരലോകത്ത്) വേദനയേറിയ ശിക്ഷ നാം ഒരുക്കിവെക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.(37)
(37) وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا الرُّسُلَ أَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ وَجَعَلْنَاهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ آيَةً ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا
And Nuh's (Noah) people, when they denied the Messengers We drowned them, and We made them as a sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc).(37)
