ഭക്ഷണം കഴിക്കുകയും അങ്ങാടിയിലൂടെ നടക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായിട്ടല്ലാതെ നിനക്ക് മുമ്പ് ദൂതന്മാരില് ആരെയും നാം അയക്കുകയുണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. നിങ്ങള് ക്ഷമിക്കുമോ എന്ന് നോക്കാനായി നിങ്ങളില് ചിലരെ ചിലര്ക്ക് നാം ഒരു പരീക്ഷണമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (നിന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവ് (എല്ലാം) കണ്ടറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.(20)
(20) وَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا قَبْلَكَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلَّا إِنَّهُمْ لَيَأْكُلُونَ الطَّعَامَ وَيَمْشُونَ فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ ۗ وَجَعَلْنَا بَعْضَكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فِتْنَةً أَتَصْبِرُونَ ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ بَصِيرًا
And We never sent before you (O Muhammad SAW) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything).(20)
