അവന്ന് പുറമെ പല ദൈവങ്ങളേയും അവര് സ്വീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവര് (ദൈവങ്ങള്) യാതൊന്നും സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നില്ല. അവര് തന്നെയും സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുകയാകുന്നു. തങ്ങള്ക്ക് തന്നെ ഉപദ്രവമോ ഉപകാരമോ അവര് അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുമില്ല. മരണത്തെയോ ജീവിതത്തെയോ ഉയിര്ത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിനെയോ അവര് അധീനപ്പെടുത്തുന്നില്ല.(3)
(3) وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً لَا يَخْلُقُونَ شَيْئًا وَهُمْ يُخْلَقُونَ وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُونَ مَوْتًا وَلَا حَيَاةً وَلَا نُشُورًا
Yet they have taken besides Him other aliha (gods) that created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither hurt nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead.(3)
