മതത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തില് ബലപ്രയോഗമേ ഇല്ല. സന്മാര്ഗം ദുര്മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് വ്യക്തമായി വേര്തിരിഞ്ഞ് കഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാല് ഏതൊരാള് ദുര്മൂര്ത്തികളെ അവിശ്വസിക്കുകയും അല്ലാഹുവില് വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നുവോ അവന് പിടിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത് ബലമുള്ള ഒരു കയറിലാകുന്നു. അത് പൊട്ടി പോകുകയേ ഇല്ല. അല്ലാഹു (എല്ലാം) കേള്ക്കുന്നവനും അറിയുന്നവനുമാകുന്നു.(256)
(256) لَا إِكْرَاهَ فِي الدِّينِ ۖ قَدْ تَبَيَّنَ الرُّشْدُ مِنَ الْغَيِّ ۚ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَيُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقَىٰ لَا انْفِصَامَ لَهَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.(256)
