അങ്ങനെ അവരെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പുറമെ അവര് ആരാധിക്കുന്നവയെയും വെടിഞ്ഞ് അദ്ദേഹം പോയപ്പോള് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് നാം ഇഷാഖിനെയും (മകന്) യഅ്ഖൂബിനെയും (പൌത്രന്) നല്കി. അവരെയൊക്കെ നാം പ്രവാചകന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.(49)
(49) فَلَمَّا اعْتَزَلَهُمْ وَمَا يَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَهَبْنَا لَهُ إِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ ۖ وَكُلًّا جَعَلْنَا نَبِيًّا
So when he had turned away from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We gave him Ishaque (Isaac) and Ya'qub (Jacob), and each one of them We made a Prophet.(49)
