സത്യവിശ്വാസികളേ, നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് നാം നല്കിയ വസ്തുക്കളില് നിന്ന് വിശിഷ്ടമായത് ഭക്ഷിച്ചു കൊള്ളുക. അല്ലാഹുവോട് നിങ്ങള് നന്ദികാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക; അവനെ മാത്രമാണ് നിങ്ങള് ആരാധിക്കുന്നതെങ്കില്.(172)
(172) يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوا لِلَّهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism)! Eat of the lawful things that We have provided you with, and be grateful to Allah, if it is indeed He Whom you worship.(172)
