എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ! തീര്ച്ചയായും അവ (വിഗ്രഹങ്ങള്) മനുഷ്യരില് നിന്ന് വളരെപ്പേരെ പിഴപ്പിച്ച് കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. അതിനാല് എന്നെ ആര് പിന്തുടര്ന്നുവോ അവന് എന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തില് പെട്ടവനാകുന്നു. ആരെങ്കിലും എന്നോട് അനുസരണക്കേട് കാണിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം തീര്ച്ചയായും നീ ഏറെ പൊറുക്കുന്നവനും കരുണാനിധിയുമാണല്ലോ.(36)
(36) رَبِّ إِنَّهُنَّ أَضْلَلْنَ كَثِيرًا مِنَ النَّاسِ ۖ فَمَنْ تَبِعَنِي فَإِنَّهُ مِنِّي ۖ وَمَنْ عَصَانِي فَإِنَّكَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ
"O my Lord! They have indeed led astray many among mankind. But whoso follows me, he verily is of me. And whoso disobeys me, - still You are indeed Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.(36)
