മനുഷ്യരേ, ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതില് നിന്ന് അനുവദനീയവും, വിശിഷ്ടവുമായത് നിങ്ങള് ഭക്ഷിച്ച് കൊള്ളുക. പിശാചിന്റെകാലടികളെ നിങ്ങള് പിന്തുടരാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക. അവന് നിങ്ങളുടെ പ്രത്യക്ഷ ശത്രു തന്നെയാകുന്നു.(168)
(168) يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ كُلُوا مِمَّا فِي الْأَرْضِ حَلَالًا طَيِّبًا وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا خُطُوَاتِ الشَّيْطَانِ ۚ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُبِينٌ
O mankind! Eat of that which is lawful and good on the earth, and follow not the footsteps of Shaitan (Satan). Verily, he is to you an open enemy.(168)
