യൂസുഫിന്റെ കുപ്പായത്തില് കള്ളച്ചോരയുമായാണ് അവര് വന്നത്. പിതാവ് പറഞ്ഞു: അങ്ങനെയല്ല, നിങ്ങളുടെ മനസ്സ് നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് ഒരു കാര്യം ഭംഗിയായി തോന്നിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. അതിനാല് നല്ല ക്ഷമ കൈക്കൊള്ളുക തന്നെ. നിങ്ങളീ പറഞ്ഞുണ്ടാക്കുന്ന കാര്യത്തില് (എനിക്ക്) സഹായം തേടാനുള്ളത് അല്ലാഹുവോടത്രെ.(18)
(18) وَجَاءُوا عَلَىٰ قَمِيصِهِ بِدَمٍ كَذِبٍ ۚ قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنْفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا ۖ فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ ۖ وَاللَّهُ الْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
And they brought his shirt stained with false blood. He said: "Nay, but your ownselves have made up a tale. So (for me) patience is most fitting. And it is Allah (Alone) Whose help can be sought against that which you assert."(18)
