അവര് പറഞ്ഞു: ശുഐബേ, നീ പറയുന്നതില് നിന്ന് അധികഭാഗവും ഞങ്ങള്ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നില്ല. തീര്ച്ചയായും ഞങ്ങളില് ബലഹീനനായിട്ടാണ് നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള് കാണുന്നത്. നിന്റെ കുടുംബങ്ങള് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില് നിന്നെ ഞങ്ങള് എറിഞ്ഞ് കൊല്ലുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു. ഞങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചേടത്തോളം നീയൊരു പ്രതാപവാനൊന്നുമല്ല.(91)
(91) قَالُوا يَا شُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا ۖ وَلَوْلَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَاكَ ۖ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ
They said: "O Shu'aib! We do not understand much of what you say, and we see you a weak (man, it is said that he was a blind man) among us. Were it not for your family, we should certainly have stoned you and you are not powerful against us."(91)
